Takeroom

Terms of Service

Last updated

Placeholder pending legal drafting. Both stores require a terms document before review, and this is not one. It records the intent so nothing here contradicts the product, but the binding text has to be written by counsel.

1. What Takeroom does

You upload a video you recorded. Takeroom edits it and gives it back. The original stays on our servers only as long as stated in the privacy policy.

2. What you are promising us

  • The footage is yours to upload.
  • Everyone recorded in it agreed to being recorded and to you uploading it.
  • You will not upload anything unlawful.

3. What we are not promising you

  • That a cut will be the one you would have made. It is an automated edit and you can change it.
  • That the service is uninterrupted.
  • Anything about pricing. Correction

4. Your footage stays yours

Uploading does not give us ownership. We use it to produce your edit and for nothing else, and we do not train models on it.

Still to be drafted: licence grant scope, acceptable use, termination, liability limits and disclaimers, indemnity, governing law and venue, dispute resolution, changes to terms, and the subscription and refund terms each store requires.
